The Epiphone Adam Jones Art Collection consists of seven Silverburst Les Paul™ Custom models, each featuring reproductions of different works of fine art on the back. Adam curated the featured artwork, and additional artwork, designed by artist Korin Faught, adorns the back of the headstock of each model. Five distinguished artists are featured in the collection, and only 800 guitars of each model will be produced. This unprecedented limited-edition collection brings Adam’s love of art and music together.
The fourth model released as part of the Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection features Julie Heffernan’s delicate, lush “Self-Portrait As Not Dead Yet.” Julie Heffernan’s paintings have been described by The New Yorker magazine as “ironic rococo surrealism with a social-satirical twist.” Her portraiture reflects on environmental, art historical, feminist, literary, social, and political subjects. Each limited-edition guitar comes with a marquee back plate showing the name of the artist and artwork, a headstock featuring an additional design by artist Korin Fought, and a Protector hardshell case.
