Matchless HC-30 – Head – Black/Silver Piping

The  Matchless HC-30 is an amplifier guitar head that has been proven to show versatility and durability- something that professional musicians told Matchless that was most important in a guitar amplifier. The two 12AX7’s in Channel 1 create a parallel-triode circuit with interactive bass and treble. The one EF86 in Channel 2 consists of a high-gain pentode coupled to a six-position tone switch. The power amp uses a 12AX7 phase inverter, which powers four EL84 power tubes. Power and durability are in excess in this amp head. Versatility is defined in the array of tones produced. Matchless-made, musician-approved.
