It was a lot of fun putting the specifications for this beautiful guitar together with the help of the lovely team at Santa Cruz Guitar Company.  We chose an incredible and clean set of Sinker Redwood, paired with a beautiful set of rich Cocobolo. Though Cocobolo is a relatively dense tonewood, we aimed to keep this guitar nice and light, and meant to be immediately responsive even to a light attack. At only 4 lbs 4 oz, Santa Cruz achieved a beautifully light weight Rosewood OM that is incredibly resonant with a bass response you can really feel.
