Suhr has been one of our overall favorites lately. Coupling modern refinement with old school finish techniques, the Classic Antique is right at home in the most meticulous hands.
The Grosh NOS Retro is a guitar we are rarely able to keep in stock. For traditionalists looking for a new, but familiar flavor the NOS Retro is a breath of fresh air. From Grosh's famous rolled finger board edges to their creamy sounding pickups this is a Strat that is sure to please!
We at Eddie's thought this Legacy from G&L played very well and sounded great! This is one of the more affordable instruments we carry, but is a huge bang for your buck. Great finish work, hardware design and pickup voicing.
7. Melancon Pro Artist - Olympic White
The Pro Artist from Melancon is a clean machine! Sugar Pine body with roasted maple neck and finger board deliver exceptionally sweet nuance and articulation. Very lightweight, would be a gigging musician's best friend!
This Shell Pink Classic Antique has our tops spinning! Another outstanding creation from Suhr with tons of great vibes. Suhr ML single coil pickups are some of the most versatile in the business. Roasted maple neck is super stiff and resonant. Excellent!
The 1961 Strat had one of the coolest neck shapes ever on a Strat. Fender's Custom Shop has perfectly executed this recreation of an old, gently loved friend. Acoustically a very lively guitar… Plugged in a wildly dynamic monster!
Few builders today go to the level of detail in aging an instrument as Lance Lerman. Lacy, a beautifully worn Saticoy, may just fool your hands into thinking she's really from the 60's! Very snappy sounding and feeling guitar.
There is no guitar that better exemplifies the "wall of sound" effect. Many builders attempt to recreate some of the magic found in those old pre war Gibson guitars, few do it this well. This is a thumping rhythm machine!
The first year for Fender CBS, and the last year for really high quality Fender instruments for a number of years. The American Vintage 1965 Strat is a great representation of a warmer, mellower Strat. Easy and fun to play rosewood board and alder body produce wonderful traditional tones.
"Rode hard and put away wet" accurately describes the look of the Custom Shop 1957 Strat Heavy Reilc. Smooth playing soft V neck is loaded with 6105 frets and a 9.5" fingerboard radius for lightning fast licks. Custom Shop Fat 50's pickups offer just enough bite.
