Martin D-18 SS
The Martin D-18 SS is a shorter-scaled version of the traditional D-18. With a slightly shorter scale-length of 24.9, the Martin D18SS is slightly more responsive, delivering a warm, sweet sound. Though not much of a difference from the traditional D-18, the shorter scale also provides a subtle shift in balance, offering more treble and midrange tones, which is a large reason the shorter scale is preferred by many acoustic guitarists.
