The Martin D12-28 is created with the same traditional specs that the D-28 is made with, except that the D12-28 has 12-strings instead of 6 six. The sounds that stem from the D-28 12-string guitar are similar to the sounds from the 6 string: loud, warm, and resonant. However, the 12-string guitar emits a sound with slightly more chime. The D12-28 is also made with solid Sitka spruce on the top and East Indian Rosewood on the sides and back.
