"The Breedlove Phoenix is built upon the C10 body shape - a shallow bodied (4 1/16") concert-sized guitar. The Phoenix is also built with some of the most unique woods available, resulting in an instrument that is a phenomenal choice for fingerstyle players as well as light strummers. The dark, mysterious tone of the Phoenix comes from the sublime combination of a Redwood top and Ziricote back and sides.
